How can I download videos from my MFC Chat Archive?

I've tried DownThemAll and Video Downloadhelper plus RTMPDumpHelper. Can't seem to get any of these to recognize the chat archive videos. I can use a screen capture program but I want a better quality video. The reason I want to download is that the original captures I did with RTMPDumpHelper are corrupt for a certain model. Thanks for any help.

Have you tried IDM?

I'm not sure how IDM would help capture the video stream.

That's what IDM does. Or should do. When you load a page with a streaming video, normally a IDM button pops up for you to click in order to download the stream. You can also search the page's source code and look for the download link that way.

Did you try replay media catcher while leaving the video still playing until its finished?

The addon Video DownloadHelper for Firefox works very fine do it!

It's simple...

In the page you have the video archives you will see the icon of Video DownloadHelper changing.

Then it's just you click on black arrow and the video will be saved in the folder you want.
