Tutorial: Posting guide for beginners

This is a basic tutorial for posting videos for those that are confused about how to get started posting content. If anything is unclear or you want to add something, please feel free reply.

First, download a thumbnail creator of your choice, I find that Thumbnailme works great, which can be found at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/thumbnailme/. Many people use Media Player Classic to create thumbnails as well, found at: https://mpc-hc.org/downloads/

If you use Thumbnail me you may want to find a configuration that you like best. I prefer 4 rows, 4 columns, and a 1024 px width. Under style choose various color and font options until you find a combination that you prefer. Make sure that both Info Text and Timestamp have a checkmark in their boxes.

Under the input and output section at the bottom is where you add video files to have thumbnails created, select load and add no more than 10 video files at a time, because the program can get buggy if you try to add too many video files at once.

After thumbnails are created, use an appropriate image hosting service that is recommended on KK, found here: http://www.kitty-kats.net/threads/allowed-image-hosts.2068378/. Choose the image preview size after selecting an image hosting service, I personally feel that between 300-500 is a good preview size, click upload.

Once you upload the thumbnails to a recommended image host, you'll see a bunch of different options to copy. What you need to do is look for the code that mentions 'code for forums' or 'bb code' and copy it. Use notepad or something similar to paste the code so that you can save it for when you're ready to post your content.

Upload your video(s) to one of the recommended file sharing hosts on KK, found here: http://www.kitty-kats.net/threads/rules-recommendations-latest-edit-23-march-2015.1816168/. You can upload to the site directly or check to see alternative ways to upload. Copy the download link into your text editor under the image code. I personally use FTP, as it allows you to easily queue up a lot of files at once and control the upload rate for those with slower upload or internet in general.

After your thumbnails and videos are uploaded, structure your post in your text editor and then copy and paste it into a thread in the appropriate forum section on KK. For cam model videos capped from MFC, chaturbate, etc., start a thread in the following section: http://www.kitty-kats.net/forums/webcam-girls.242/

Sample forum post:

model name - brief description of the video

thumbnail image forum code

link to video file
