The model gets to control her content and takes a bigger cut of the proceeds. As he builds her subscriber base, instead of taking, say, a flat fee per set plus a royalty, she gets all of it. OF takes a cut, but the model's net receipts are still much higher and her operating costs are very low - basically she just needs a cell phone with a camera and an internet connection.

If you already don't have a fan base (a site and/or place where from to bring/direct your fans & followers) to visit your own site, than OF is a lot easier solution. Creating your own site, believe it or not, is the easiest part! However, bringing traffic (potentional customers) to your site is closer to science fiction.
