Marketing. She has to "build up the suspense" first. It isn't good marketing to display all of the goods right out the gate. You can't create that "wanting more" feeling from the guys with tokens to spend if you show them what they want to see on the first day. Much smarter to show a hint here and a peek there and milk those guys for every token they've got over the next few weeks or months.
