PLATINUM PARADISE is the most conventional film from the producer of BABYLON PINK, and the director of SNAKE EYES, SCOUNDRELS, and NEON NIGHTS. It is one of the slickest, most polished and professional East Coast productions ever. PLATINUM is a stylized vignette film that catalogs a typical day at a sex outcall service named 'Paradise' and the events surrounding customers and staffers. The cast is chock full of attractive big name performers, and when you combine great sex footage with top notch production values, realistic dialogue, efficient editing and infectious music, you have what a sex film is meant to be.
The best sequence of the film is the 'misunderstanding' between Eric [Edwards] and Vanessa [Del Rio], both of whom, unknown to the other, are professionals. As each tries harder to please the 'customer' both reach erotic highs. For the repeat go round, Vanessa brings him to erection with a feather and actually talks Eric to orgasm. The scene is an unretouched tribute to Eric's power of concentration.
