They suffer further reverses when another girl with a crush on the boy writes an accusatory letter about the girl. Meanwhile, the camp is attempting to put together a production of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. With pluck, determination and good cheer, things turn out well for the k!ds.

In the early 1970s Erwin C. Dietrich's sex-film factory went into overdrive. There was no room any more for plots, the films' episodic structure often betrayed a similarly episodic production history that would allow a flexible assembly of the shot material. Blutjunge Masseusen had at least a common theme - brothels masquerading as massage parlours, embedded in a narration in which a travel agent was openly soliciting these ventures. This set-up does not promise too much originality, and when the writing did come up with something fresh and unexpected (like the roller-skate episode) then the competent but bog-standard cinematography seemed unable to turn this into something special.

Not nearly as sexually graphic or violent as either the original 'Caligula' or D'Amato's film, this is strictly soft core all the way - bar two scenes involving mating horses (taken from 'The Beast' ) and donkeys (filmed specifically for this film). I wouldn't call this historically accurate exactly (there's an understatement!), but I'll let that pass as the film at least tries to pile on the sleaze to make up for its other shortcomings: even though everything that goes on here is too cheesy to be offensive.
