Fact: There are approx. 27 million active shoplifters in our nation today. American retailers lose $45 billion annually to theft. In the business of retail, there are two separate but equally important parties: The "Shoplyfter" that tries to steal the merchandise, and the loss prevention officer who stands in their way. Once caught, these officers need to make sure these delinquents never steal again by any means necessary. These are their stories:
When Judy gets caught stealing, the security guard takes her to the back gives her two options: he can either call the cops or handle the transgression himself. Judy does not want to get the police involved so she reluctantly complies to go.
As a cashier, Tallie has been letting some of her friends purchase stuff with stolen credit cards. One day though, the security guard confronts her telling her they've run an investigation and they have her on tape, so she's pretty much screwed.
