With Etta Candy being held as a prisoner by the fiendish Dr. Remorae, it seems as if that Wondrous Woman and Wondrous Girl cannot do anything to harm the vile supervillain without endangering the life of their friend in Army Intelligence. Knowing that Remorae will stop at nothing to achieve his goals, both amazons (now bootless and stripped of their magic bracelets) shuffle their pantyhosed feet in quiet protest.
Remorae orders both women to kneel before him, and they are ordered to cleave-gag each other. The superheroes, knowing that it is simply a move for degradation, reluctantly comply but their eyes show their venomous hatred for the malicious mutant. As Remorae orders WG to bind her older step-sister, Wondrous Woman stoically endures being lashed tight with rope laced with Feminum, a metal so impervious that not even she can break it or sunder the ropes. Her ankles similarly bound, both gagged women stare at their captor until both amazonian princesses start to feel... compromised. Realizing that the cleave-gags have been soaked in some form of alchemical they realize that the gagging ploy was simply a ruse to get them to slowly disable themselves using the time-honored tradition of CHCl3. As WW and WG fall onto their sides and lose touch with their consciousness, all they can hear as they is the ringing laughter of the evil midget.
When both Wondrous Woman and Wondrous Girl awaken, they are bound together back-to-back. Bound at the ankles, the knees, and with wrists behind their back, the two are also bound together with one another at the gags and at the ankles, meaning that the struggles of one person indirectly affected the movements of the other. In addition, both women were crotch-roped with their own magic lassos in order to weaken their willpower and leave them disoriented and confused as their wills were sapped by their own weapons of justice. The doctor also affixes a silvery metal cable of conductive wire to their collars and attaches the other end to a Van De Graff generator, which cycles low voltage through the conductive wire to their bodies. As the interrogation continues for the next twenty-seven hours, the dial on the generator creeps slowly higher and higher, causing the amazons more and more pain, eventually going fro a tingling sensation to a jolting feeling to a burning pain to a white-hot electrifying agony that makes both heroines smolder with destructive lightning. The continues for over a day, and eventually both gagged and bound heroines weaken to the point that they .
When WW recovers, her step-sister is nowhere to be found and she discovers that she's been leashed with a slave collar and is into a kneeling position before her master. to comply before him, Wondrous Woman makes a plea, to have her magic bracelets returned to her. Refusing at first, WW explains to her master that an amazon's bracelets are a symbol of her slavery to men, a tradition that goes back 3000 years to their time as slaves in Ancient Greece. Realizing the poetic symmetry in this action, Remorae hands WW back her bracelets, which she gratefully puts on. Asking for her lasso, Remorae refuses but likewise acquiesces when he realizes that it is a tool of bondage and that WW would never leave anyway without her step-sister Drusilla. In the end, WW has almost all of her costume back but accepts life as a slave crawling around submissively on her hands and knees. Is this the end of America's greatest superheroine? Is there no way to save Wondrous Girl and to finally defeat this evil villain before he manages to completely break both amazon princesses? Tune in, and find out.
